The clinic is open from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m, from Monday to Saturday. There is a break between 1.00 and 3.00 p.m. In August 2012, we have extended the clinic’s facilities to include emergency day care and I/V hydration therapy. It has been a blessing to the patients. Intravenous fluid is given only on the base of strong medical indications. Vulnerable children and non-vulnerable children (OVC) visiting our clinic where health facilities are far from the remote villages. Over 3 years, information on immunization status, diagnosis of anemia, skin and intestinal disorders, nutrition, dental disorders, Diabetes check (elders) was collected and showed that visits to our clinic improved the overall health of children that visited regularly. It concluded that specified “planning of these programs in areas with similarly identified barriers may help correct the health disparities and could be a first step in improving child morbidity and mortality in difficult-to-reach rural areas. We have acquired another land for expansion, to provide for other needs of our community in the future.
The VIIE youth centre
The vision of our youth centre is to support and equip marginalized students, youth and people of rural and urban community, who are unaware of new developments in the field of education, sports, health, technological, microfinance and government welfare policy.
